“Youth for youth” A Youth Fellow award for youth

Asia and Pacific Alliance of YMCAs

This award by the APAY bestowed upon the youth below the age of 30 years who contribute a sum of US$.100/- either through a fund raising or by themselves towards the youth fund of the APAY.

Goals of Fellow:

• To build up a fund to carry our youth program in the Asia-Pacific region:
• To Support creating an awareness among the young people in understanding the local and global realities.
• To support empowering the youth in responding to issues related to the local community through meaningful actions.
• To assist the youth in the region in developing their potentials and social awareness as youth leaders and make use of such qualities for the progress of the YMCA movement.

To awarded a Youth fellow “Youth for Youth”:

The Individuals who either raise or contribute a sum of $ 100/- towards the youth work of the APAY may send money with the prescribed format. The funds may be transferred to the APAY through the YMCA as follows:

Selection for Awards: All those (below 30 years of age) who have contributed US$.100 or more will receive the award “Youth for Youth”.

Presentation of Awards: The awards will be presented to the successful youth during APAY General Assembly, September 2015.
