18th General Assembly

Subject: 18th General Assembly ~ Early Bird Registration/Participation

Dear Colleagues,

We wish to thank you once again for all your participation and cooperation during our
Executive Committee Meeting held last March 9-12, 2011. There were several
recommendations and decisions made that we may need some time to share all these to you.

 

With regard to the 18th General Assembly, the following important matters were decided:

1. Early bird registration ~ from April 1 to May 15, 2011, there will be a special
   discounted rate for participation cost only. There will be no changes in the registration
   fee. Please refer to the attached form.
2. Green Fund ~ there will be an additional charge of 15USD to the total fees to be
   collected in this General Assembly and in every programme/workshop of APAY.
   This green fund is our way of offsetting the green house gas emissions of air travel of
   each participant. The fund will be invested in appropriate renewable energy projects
   and other environmental conservation projects of YMCAs in the region.
3. Updated registration form ~ kindly use this updated form incorporating the early
   bird charges and green fund. Please advise your youth delegates to complete also this
   General Assembly Form (particularly for their accommodations) along with the Youth
   Assembly Form, which we sent some days ago. Please be reminded that completed
   registration forms should be returned to our office before July 15, 2011.
