Executive Committee and Related Meeting, March 8-11, 2016

Dear YMCA Leaders, Colleagues and Friends,

 

New year’s greetings to you from APAY office, Hong Kong.

 

This is to inform that the Executive Committee and Related Meetings of the Asia and Pacific Alliance of YMCAs will be held on March 8 to evening of March 11, 2014 (official ECM schedule: March 9, 2 p.m. to March 11, Farewell Dinner) at The Cityview, 23 Waterloo Road, Yaumatei, Hong Kong. Please plan your arrival & departure accordingly on the attached timetable.

 

A Mission Review session will be held on 8th March, from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm. A theological reflection on the current trends and issues that we will address during the quadrennial will be made collectively at the Conference. The orientation of new Executive Committee and Standing Committee members will take place from 10:00 am after morning devotion on 9th March. We recommend all the participants to attend both Mission Review Conference and Orientation Session.

 

Relevant documents, including the Tentative timetable, Registration /Accommodation Form, Proxy Form, Nomination Form and Form of In Memoriam are enclosed for your kind attention and action.

 

It is important that duly completed participation form reaches the APAY Secretariat not later than 8 February 2016, to facilitate room reservations and other arrangements. For those countries that require visa process, it takes at least 4 weeks. It is recommended to apply in the middle of January.

Please be reminded that all travel, board and lodging costs shall be the responsibility of the individual member or her/his movement. The Alliance may be able to consider partial subsidies for only a limited number of participants from those movements that have financial constraints. Please contact me before 8 February 2016 should you require some assistance to participate in the meetings.
