Subject : S2S (Skip a meal to Save for youth) Campaign 09 Dear Colleagues and Friends; Greetings from APAY. At the last Executive Committee Meeting in March 2009, we decided to do a fund raising campaign ~ ˇ§SKIP to SAVE (S2S). Under this programme, every person is requested to skip a meal and the money saved will go to the youths for leadership development programmes and activities for them. We will be launching this programme on December 12, 2009 and it will also be our 1 st APAY S2S Day! We encourage all YMCA members, staff, board of directors/trustees and youths to participate in this special campaign. We have likewise requested the Y's Men International to join us and participate. We have prepared a special (4-minute) video for this Campaign explaining its purpose and how to do it. Please reproduce and use it for your own campaign. Herewith are the forms necessary for this campaign ~ Form A (for local YMCA to be submitted to your National YMCA), Form B (for local YMCA record) and Form C (for National Y to be submitted to APAY). All donations received by the local YMCAs shall be sent to the National YMCAs. The APAY would only need to receive a copy of Form C (National YMCA/Y's Men Region) with the amount transferred to APAY account before 10 February 2010 to enable us to make a report at the Executive Committee Meeting in March 2010. Please note that the 50% of the monies sent by your National Council shall be used for youths in your country and the rest 50% shall be for APAY's youth programs, activities and gatherings.We express once again our thanks and appreciation for your full support and consideration.
