YMCA Japan invites to Join the YMCA Pink Shirt Day movement to end bullying

Pink Shirt Day is an anti-bullying movement that began in 2007 with two students in Canada.The story began when a male student was bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school. Two seniors who heard about this bought 50 pink shirts and used the internet to encourage their peers to wear them the next day. Read more

Christmas Camp For Children by The YMCA Of Negros Oriental

The 2025 Christmas Camp For Under-Privileged Children was held last December 22-24 at the YMCA Guest House & Conference Center, Talay, Dumaguete City, and was attended by 76 under-privileged children (8-12 years old) and 22 Youth Leaders coming from at least 6 depressed communities in the City of Dumaguete. Read more

We Didn't Just Decorate a Space —We Planted a Forest of Hope - A Meaningful Christmas Tree 2025 Exhibition by YMCA of Hong Kong

In December 2025, YMCA of Hong Kong unveiled the "Meaningful Christmas Tree 100" exhibition. Christmas is a time of hope. Transforming the atrium of The Salisbury into a forest of hope, the display featured 125 unique Christmas cards crafted from recycled toys, celebrating the 125th anniversary of the YMCA movement in Hong Kong. Read more

YMCA of the City of Baguio celebrated its 84th Anniversary with a special event for Children

The pageant Search for Little Mr. and Ms. YMCA Baguio is an annual program of the YMCA Baguio through the Pre-School Program in support to the Annual Celebration of the Anniversary of YMCA of the City of Baguio since 1941. The pageant search started after the killer earthquake in 1996 as a popularity contest selling tickets and giving donation envelopes to raise funds for the YMCA Pre-School. Read more

Formation of a new YMCA Daringbadi in the Eastern India Region

A new YMCA was inaugurated in Daringabadi on 23 January 2026 with the efforts of YMCA Cuttack and YMCA Bhubaneswar. The objective of forming new YMCAs in the Eastern India Region is to strengthen the Movement and extend God’s Kingdom. An Adhoc Committee was formed, and around 30 communicant members of Churches from different denominations attended the ceremony. Read more

An unexpected fire broke out at the YMCA International Centre in Sri Lanka; buildings are partially damaged!

A fire broke out in the early morning on the 23rd of July at the YMCA International Centre in Kurana, Katunayake. Many from the global YMCA community and APAY reached out to the YMCA Sri Lanka with solidarity and support. NCY of Sri Lanka is eternally grateful to all in the greater YMCA family for their camaraderie and concern during this time.
