YMCA of Singapore Releases Music Albums Inspired by Young Speakers on Spotify

The YMCA of Singapore has released two new music albums — The YMCA Plain English Speaking Awards (PESA) 2024 and Mandarin Speaking Awards (MSA) 2024 — now available for streaming on Spotify. Launched on 26 May 2025, the albums feature songs inspired by the speeches of young participants from the 2024 YMCA PESA and MSA competitions.

Each track creatively reimagines the powerful messages shared during the competitions, transforming the students’ spoken words into moving musical pieces. From themes of inclusiveness to imaginative takes on their dream pets, the albums reflect the voices and aspirations of today’s youth.

More than just a creative initiative, these albums also support a meaningful cause. By streaming them, listeners are contributing to the YMCA Community Service Fund, which empowers youth with special needs and youth-at-risk through life-skills training, mentoring, and inclusive development programmes.
