Blood Donation Camp organized by YMCA Cuttack
YMCA Cuttack organized a Blood Donation Camp on 13.09.2025. A team of 6 members were deputed by the SCB Medical College and hospital, Cuttack to collect blood during the camp. 80 units of blood were collected.
Objectives of the Program
To save the precious lives of those people who suffer due to unavailability of blood in the blood bank. To create awareness among the blood donors by educating them about the necessity and the health benefits of donating blood.
Details of the Program
Due to scarcity of blood in the Blood Bank, especially due to escalation of the count of thalassemia and cancer patients, YMCA Cuttack organized a Blood Donation Camp on 13.09.2025. During the Blood donation Camp, donors learnt about the necessity and health benefits of donating blood. A team of 6 members were deputed by the SCB Medical College and hospital, Cuttack to collect blood during the camp. Despite of heavy rainfall throughout the day, 80 units of blood were collected.
Some of the significant outcome were the Involvement of people in the society into social and noble activities; awareness among the people about the need and health benefits of donating blood. Several Lives are restored due to availability of blood during their medical emergency. Health and Healthy Living as well as Community Wellbeing.
