Celebrating Faith, Fellowship & Community

Program Overview 

YMCA Lahore celebrated Christmas Program 2025 with great joy, reverence, and community spirit. The event brought together church leaders, YMCA leadership, members, and guests in an atmosphere filled with faith, unity, and gratitude.The entire program was confidently led and coordinated by Assistant Secretary Ms. Sania Ashiq and Ms. Imrah Sarfraz, whose dedication ensured a well-organized, meaningful, and engaging celebration.

Opening & Worship

The program commenced with an Opening Prayer by Mr. Augustine Shakeel Zafar, seeking God’s blessings for the gathering and the celebrations ahead.This was followed by a Bible Reading by Ms. Sarah Sarfraz, which set a reflective and spiritual tone, reminding everyone of the true message of Christmas — hope, love, and salvation.

Carol Singing by YMCA Choir

The festive spirit of Christmas was beautifully uplifted through Carol Singing by the YMCA Choir, led by Youth Coordinator Mr. Ramis John, whose harmonious voices filled the hall with joy and devotion. The choir members included Sarah Sarfraz, Agnus Aslam, Kinret Waris, Alishba Ashiq, Prisca John, Jennifer Riaz, Ahmer Tanveer, Ethan Waris, Saiman Sam.

Sermon & Spiritual Message

Before the sermon, a Prayer for the Sermon was offered by Pastor Zahid Azeem, asking for divine guidance and understanding. 

The Sermon was delivered by Rt. Rev. Nadeem Kamran, Bishop of Lahore, who shared a powerful and inspiring message on the true meaning of Christmas. His address emphasized faith, compassion, humility, and service to humanity, leaving a lasting spiritual impact on the audience.


Cake Cutting Ceremony

A joyful Cake Cutting Ceremony was held to mark the celebration of Christmas and fellowship.

The ceremony was led by General Secretary Madam Ghazala Sarfraz, along with esteemed guests, church leaders, YMCA leadership, and members, symbolizing unity and shared joy within the YMCA family.

Cultural & Special Performances

The program continued with a heartfelt Solo Singing Performance by Saiman, which was warmly appreciated by the audience.

To add a joyful and festive touch, a Santa Claus Announcement brought smiles and excitement, especially for children and families, enhancing the celebratory atmosphere of the evening.

Closing Address

The program concluded with a Closing Speech by General Secretary Madam Ghazala Sarfraz, who extended Christmas greetings and expressed sincere appreciation to all guests, church leaders, organizers, volunteers, and participants. Her address highlighted YMCA Lahore’s continued commitment to faith-based values, community service, and unity, reinforcing the organization’s mission of building a caring and inclusive society.

Prayer & Christmas Dinner

Before the dinner, a Prayer for the Meal was offered by Pastor Irfan, thanking God for His blessings and for the spirit of togetherness shared during the celebration. 

Guests then enjoyed a Christmas Dinner, which provided a warm opportunity for fellowship, interaction, and strengthening relationships within the YMCA community. The dinner reflected the true spirit of Christmas — sharing, gratitude, and unity.

Conclusion
