Cancer Awareness Programe by YMCA Cuttack
YMCA Cuttack observed World Cancer Day by conducting a Cancer Awareness Programme at Thompson Women’s Training Institute on 7th February 2026.
The programme was graced by Dr. Saroj Kumar Das, Associate Professor, MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Berhampur, who served as the Resource Person. He delivered a highly informative and interactive session on cancer awareness, focusing on early detection and prevention, with special emphasis on breast and cervical cancer.
The programme was attended by 120 participants, including students, staff, and the Principal of Thompson Women’s Training Institute, as well as the Board of Directors, staff, and members of YMCA Cuttack.
The session helped create awareness about preventive healthcare and encouraged participants to adopt timely screening and healthy lifestyle practices.
