Art & Craft Summer Camp, 2025
The Inauguration Ceremony of the Art & Craft Summer Camp, 2025 organized by YMCA Cuttack in association with Hemant’s Art & Creativity was held on 19th May, 2025 at YMCA Cuttack. The ceremony started with a word of prayer by Rev. Samuel Somalingam, Pastor, Mount House Church of God, Cuttack followed by words of inspiration and encouragement by Er. Alok Kumar Sahu, Secretary, Mr. Manoranjan Samantaray, Office Coordinator and Mr. Chandan Kumar Das, Staff, YMCA Cuttack.
Bible Study
A Bible Study was conducted on 24th May, 2025 at YMCA Cuttack, facilitated by Mr. Samuel Balachander, Director, Emerging Young Leaders, India. He shared about how to invest our lives through mentoring by giving Biblical examples such as Moses-Joshua, Elijah-Elisha, Paul-Timothy, Paul-Titus, etc. Around 50 youths and pastors attended the Bible Study.

Celebration of Mother’s Day
YMCA Cuttack celebrated Mother’s Day with all mothers who attended the Youth Prayer Fellowship on 11th May, 2025. The celebration started with a prayer led by Rev. Dr. P. Niranjan James, after the Youth Prayer Fellowship followed by a cake cutting ceremony for the mothers who attended the Youth Prayer Fellowship and their felicitation. Around 30 mothers were felicitated.
Drinking Water Kiosk
Due to the extreme heat, YMCA Cuttack set up a Drinking Water Kiosk from 14th to 21st May 2025, to quench the thirst of passersby and provide them with relief from the scorching sun. With the assistance of YMCA Cuttack staff, drinking water and buttermilk(a traditional Indian drink for summer) were distributed to around 200 to 250 people daily.
