YMCA China Elected New Leadership

China YMCA National Convention took place on May 27-28, 2023, and it was a resounding success. We are pleased to announce the new leadership positions: Dr. CHEN Xin has been elected as a President of NCY China, Dr. ZHAO Xiaoyang has been elected as a Vice President, while Rev. Hao Zhiqiang has been appointed as a General Secretary of NCY China.

Dr. CHEN Xin is currently a professor at Department of Macromolecular Science in Fudan University, a board member of Shanghai YMCA, a member of Shanghai Municipal People's Political Consultative Conference, and a Vice Chairman of Shanghai Christian Three Self Patriotic Movement Committee. He previously served as a board member of NCY China. 

Dr. ZHAO Xiaoyang is currently a researcher and doctoral supervisor in the Institute of Modern History at Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, a Deputy Director of the Central Committee of Jiusan Society, a Chairman of Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese at Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and a board member of All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. 

Rev. HAO Zhiqiang also holds the position of Chief Editor at Tianfeng Magazine of China Christian Council. He previously served as a Vice President of NCY China. 

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the previous leadership, led by President Rev. XU Xiaohong, Vice President Rev. HAO Zhiqiang, and National General Secretary Dr. WU Jianrong. Under their guidance, China YMCA responded to social needs, encouraged innovation, promoted professional development, and exemplified our motto of "not to be served, but to serve." Their leadership had a profound impact on the communities. 

We sincerely appreciate your unwavering support for China YMCA throughout the years and kindly request your continued support for the new leadership. We eagerly anticipate further strengthening our ties with you and exploring more opportunities for collaboration in the future. Together, we can strive towards the realization of YMCA Vision 2030.
