 Terms of Reference

The Global Strategic Directions defines a strong movement as one that has institutional viability together with a clear mission, relevant to the community. The Committee should continue to ensure a strong governance system and a strong basic financial base. It should secure and develop resources, and ensure good stewardship of these resources through appropriate management strategies, policies and guidelines, and, good governance and transparency.

The Committee will focus on:

  1. Review of the financial projection for the quadrennial term of office and strategies for mobilization of resources to meet the same.
  2. Review and recommendation of an Annual Budget, including Fair Share allocations, to the Executive Committee for approval.
  3. Review and recommendation of the Annual Audited Statement of Accounts to the Executive Committee for approval.
  4. Review/Formulation of strategies, policies and guidelines for securing funds for secretariat/office administration.
  5. Review/Formulation of strategies, policies and guidelines for securing funds for support of movements with financial constraints to participate in regional activities, and/or implementation of national/local action programmes.
