YMCA Cuttack’s Activities
Short Boundary Cricket Tournament

On 8th March 2025, YMCA Cuttack organized a Short Boundary Cricket Tournament at the Open Auditorium Arena, YMCA Cuttack. The tournament started with a word of prayer led by Rev. Dr. Nihar Kumar Bordhan, Pastor, COBC, Cuttack followed by his felicitation by Er. Rajat Pradhan, Vice-President, YMCA Cuttack and the National Anthem. 16 teams participated. During the tournament, Dr. Shakti Prakash Mohanty, Mr. Sujit Pani, Mr. Binod Kumar Mohapatra, Mr. Bichitrananda Pradhan and Gourav Mohanty, Board of Directors of YMCA Cuttack graced the tournament by their presence and elevated the significance of the tournament.

Team United Warriors were the Champions and Team Khufia Agency were the Runners-up. The Champions and Runners-up were awarded with trophies and cash prizes by Dr. Shakti Prakash Mohanty and Mr. Bichitrananda Pradhan respectively during closing ceremony concluding the tournament with a vote of thanks offered by Er. Alok Kumar Sahu, Secretary, I/c O/o General Secretary, YMCA Cuttack.
YMCA Youth Badminton Tournament

YMCA Cuttack organized a YMCA Youth Badminton Tournament on 22nd and 23rd March, 2025, at the Badminton Court of YMCA Cuttack. The opening cermony of the tournament started with a word of prayer led by Rev. Dr. Nihar Kumar Bordhan, Pastor, COBC, Cuttack followed by his felicitation by Mohammad Sikandar, Veteran Player of YMCA Cuttack and a certified Badminton Referree of the Orissa State Badminton Association. Dr. Raj Bolobha Mohanty, President, YMCA Cuttack and the Regional Chairman, Eastern India Region of YMCAs, delivered the welcome address and shared inspirational words to the participants of the tournament followed by vote of thanks offered by Mr. Sujit Pani, Board of Director, YMCA Cuttack.
Total 26 teams participated in the tournament. Dr. Shakti Prakash Mohanty, Board of Director of YMCA Cuttack and the Chairman, Youth & Physical Education standing committee of YMCA Cuttack took the lead in organizing and overseeing the tournament and its proceedings. The semifinals and final match was scheduled on 23rd March, 2025. During the closing ceremony, Shri. Sriharsha Routray, Former State Badminton Champion, Odisha, graced the occasion by his kind presence as the Chief Guest. Dr. Raj Bolobha Mohanty, President, YMCA Cuttack felicitated the Chief Guest and the official referee of the tournament Mohammad Sikandar. Mr. Jaydip Sarker, Regional Secretary, Eastern India Region of YMCAs, Mr. Udaya Kumar Puri, Hony. Treasurer, YMCA, Cuttack along with Mr. Bichitrananda Pradhan, Mr. Binod Kumar Mohapatra, Mr. Ramakanta Sahani, Dr. Shakti Prakash Mohanty, Board of Directors of YMCA Cuttack also graced the occasion by their august presence.
Life- Members of YMCA Cuttack also rose up to the occasion by sparing their valuable time to be present and extend their benevolent support voluntarily, in every possible way for the smooth conduction of the tournament. The winning team and the runners-up team were awarded with tropies and cash prizes. The closing ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Er. Alok Kumar Sahu, Secretary, I/c O/o General Secretary, YMCA Cuttack followed by fellowship dinner.
