Sunrise Resurrection Worship by Kaligram YMCA

For the seventeenth consecutive year, Kaligram YMCA celebrated the Resurrection of Jesus Christ with a Sunrise Worship Service on Sunday, 20 April 2025, at 4:30 a.m. on the Kaligram Baptist Church ground. The gathering was graced by the leadership team President, Kaligram YMCA Mr. Lipton Bairagi, Vice‑President Mr. Tapas Pandey, General Secretary Mr. Bappi Baidya, NEC member of NCYB Mrs.  Suprabha Pandey, Treasurer Mr. Binimoy Ratna along with other board members. Distinguished guests include Mr. Christopher Adhikari (President, Bangladesh Baptist Church Shango, Mr. Albert Suren Mondal (President, Dhaka Christian Bohumukhi Somobay Somity Ltd.), pastors from neighboring congregations, and several community leaders.

Around 1,000 worshippers joined in this sunrise service and celebration. The Kaligram YMCA Youth Forum led the praise‑and‑worship, after which Rev. Derick S. Adhikari delivered the sermon based on Matthew 28:5‑6. President of Kaligram YMCA Mr Lipton Bairagi shared the history of both the World YMCA and Kaligram YMCA. The proceedings were conducted by General Secretary Mr. Bappi Baidya, and Vice‑President Mr. Tapas Pandey offered the vote of thanks.

At the end, participants joined a fellowship meal served by the Kaligram YMCA volunteers. We were joyfully celebrating the day of resurrection – a new life together. In remembering the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we have received the gift of salvation.
