Subject: Executive Committee and Related Meeting, March 7-10, 2017

 

Dear YMCA Leaders, Colleagues and Friends,

 

This is to inform that the Executive Committee and Related Meetings of the Asia and Pacific Alliance of YMCAs will be held on March 7 to afternoon of March 10, 2017 (official ECM schedule: March 8, 9:30 a.m. to March 10, 12:30 p.m.) at The Cityview, 23 Waterloo Road, Yaumatei, Hong Kong. Please plan your arrival & departure accordingly on the attached timetable.

 

A Mission Review session, as integral part of the ECM, will be held on 7th March, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. A theological reflection on the current trends and issues that we will address during the quadrennial will be made at the Conference. We strongly recommend all the participants to attend the Mission Review Conference.

 

Relevant documents, including the tentative timetable, Registration /Accommodation Form, Proxy Form and Form of In Memoriam are enclosed for your kind attention and action.

 

It is important that duly completed participation form reaches the APAY Secretariat not later than 1 February 2017, to facilitate room reservations and other arrangements. For those countries that require visa process, it takes at least 4 weeks. It is recommended to apply in the middle of January.

 

Please be reminded that all travel, board and lodging costs shall be the responsibility of the individual member or her/his movement. The APAY may be able to consider partial subsidies for only a limited number of participants from those movements that have financial constraints according to APAY subsidy policy. Please contact me before 1 February 2017 should you require some assistance to participate in the meetings.
